FAQ’s

How should I prepare for my wax?

  • Exfoliate 2-3 days before your wax appointment. We recommend gently dry brushing or using an exfoliating glove before showering. Doing this will expose hair that is trapped underneath dead skin.

  • Come in with clean skin, free from any oils or heavy lotions.

  • For facial waxing, please discontinue the use of Retinol 5-7 days prior to your appointment.

Post- wax

  • Freshly waxed skin is always a bit more sensitive. We suggest wearing loose, thin clothing with natural fibers like cotton and silk to provide airflow and prevent irritation.

  • Continue to exfoliate 2-3 days after your wax to prevent any ingrown hairs or bumps.

  • We ask that you avoid sun exposure, saunas, excessive sweating and pools for the following 24-48 hours.

  • Reschedule your next appointment to stay on top of your waxing schedule.
